The Newport/Priest River Rotary Club Teacher/Staff Grant Program

Established in 2024, the purpose of this grant program is to assist schoolteachers/staff members meet the needs of their schools and students by providing financial assistance for categories including, but not limited to, curriculum, supplies, equipment, training, and events. Eligible schools must be in the West Bonner County School District or the Newport School District - this includes Pend Oreille River School and House of the Lord Christian Academy.

The maximum grant award is $500.00 per applicant per Rotary fiscal year and a maximum of $5,000.00 will be awarded per fiscal year with an estimated $1,250 being awarded each quarter. Grant awards will be based on the number of students, parents, faculty, and the general public affected and the quality of the proposed grant to improve the student’s educational experience.
